Product Details

The CVTech Trailbloc clutch itself is an amazing clutch that allows you to have a one-way bearing, that is a smaller diameter than the factory clutches one-way bearing, which allows the belt to ride lower in the primary, and higher in the secondary giving you a lower starting gear ratio thus giving you more low end. Having a lower starting gear ratio allows you to have TONS more low end and throttle control to navigate obstacles, and have TONS more punch off the line with no belt slip.

You all have bought clutch kits in the past correct? Well, this clutch is BETTER than any clutch kit on the market. This clutch does not slip belts like the factory clutch, because of its design, and setup, when it grabs the belt, its got it TIGHT! No more slipping the belts when you are trying to navigate rough terrain or trying to slowly climb over an obstacle.

    My factory clutch needed a rebuild and wanted to put in a kit. Together this would have cost more than the cvtec clutch. I put the new weights and spring in myself and surprised how easy it was to modify and check. So far seems to work great.

    Out of the box, good product. Definitely lighter than OEM. But.... That being said, you will loose some top end power. With the stock 28 gram weights I found it was grabbing too hard and needed tuning. As I was in a pinch and my 26 & 24 gram weights had yet to arrive, I drilled out roughly 2 grams per weight which helped bring my top end, AND bottom end power. The font end lifts up even with my big butt and steel bumper with encorperated rad-relocate kit. My kitchen scale showed a weight of 27.75 gram average before I drilled and 25.75 after I drilled. I’ll be switching to the 24 gram weights next time I have the clutch off. To;dr version: Good product to replace Oem, get ready to tune clutch to maximize its true potential.
