If I recall correctly there were no installation instructions, although it wasn't that difficult to figure out. Had to trim a few of the plastic buckle tabs, fits really tight. It was a tough stretch to get it in position. There's no way that the center can be secured with the hook and loop tape supplied as it wont stretch enough to reach the lid. Maybe it will stretch out over time. Overall I think it will be good storage for light objects, sunglasses and such.
