SMK Titan PFT Firefly Full Face Helmet

The helmet us really nice. A little snug at first but gets better each time you wear it.

I was about to pull the trigger on one of several other helmets around the $350 to $400 range all with various flaws after reading and watching many many reviews. I just so happened to stumble across this helmet and everywhere the other more known brands fell short, this helmet ticked the box. At first I ordered the wrong size. Measured my head just above my brow and was 58 cm(right in the middle of medium and large) so I ordered a large. Don't do that. For one thing I measured too close to my brow you should measure an inch higher to be more accurate. If you fall in between sizes my recommendation is size down. My measurment is actually 57, but if I was 58 the medium would still fit better than the large. The ratchet buckle is great for convenience except depending on the profile of your throat (adams apple) it can dig in a bit. The pin lock came installed on both the helmets I ordered, but the second one had an animal hair trapped under it(bit of an OCD trigger). The edge of the pin lock (panel) is kind of right in your line of vision when aggressively riding. And if you tilt your head up to look more thru the center of the visor at 150kph the helmet pulls quite a bit on your head. For aero dynamics you need to have your head tilted down... another small complaint is the mechanism for the drop down sun shade is very hard to feel for with gloves. Air flow is fine, but not stellar, areas of the helmet, including the visor can create a wind whistle depending on the angle you're holding your head... nothing is a deal breaker by any means... certainly CANNOT complain about the price. Comfortable helmet with nice feeling interior cloth.
