SuperATV’s Complete Heavy-Duty Transmission is made to order and then undergoes rigorous testing before it ships. Our transmissions utilize lapped gears for perfect meshing and require no break-in period! Thanks to upgraded internals and a case that’s built for battle, you can count on a SuperATV transmission to totally overhaul your ride.

A Stronger Reverse Chain

Our reverse chain has been upgraded to make it twice as strong as stock. It’s built to withstand steep hills and thick mud—you know, the kind of stuff that would make your OEM reverse chain snap. So go ahead and throw it into reverse whenever and wherever. Our upgraded reverse chain is more than capable of keeping up.

Upgraded Pinion and Snorkel Gear

Our pinion and snorkel gears are made from 9310 alloy steel. This is the same gear material they use in airplanes, so to say it’s tough would be an understatement. The front output shaft is made of 300M, which is one of the strongest steel alloys you can get. It’s not just about materials, though—strong material doesn’t do much if it’s not backed by expert manufacturing. Our pinion and snorkel gears are lapped, meaning they’re mated and broken in together during the production process. This gives you consistently smooth and cool operation.

A Thicker Pinion Bearing Retainer

Your complete transmission from SuperATV also comes with a heavy-duty pinion bearing retainer. We made sure it’s built for battle, because your stock bearing retainer is one of the biggest weak spots in your OEM transmission. If it isn’t ultra tough, your snorkel and pinion gear could pull apart, overheat, and break. Our thicker retainer holds the pinion gear firmly in place to prevent that, giving you a more reliable riding experience.

A Better Transmission Case

What’s the point of having top-notch gears if you don’t have a top-notch case to hold everything together? That’s right—there is none. Thanks to skillful and precise engineering, our Polaris transmission case is stronger in all the right places. We use 68% more metal on the snorkel tube and axle output, and we also added additional support ribs and gussets. Those extra fins help keep your transmission cooler, too.

You Pick the Gear Reduction

How do you feel about some extra torque? With a SuperATV complete transmission, you get to pick between a stock, 12.5%, 25%, or 37.5% gear reduction. A higher gear reduction gives you more torque, which is a must if you’re piling on extra weight or running massive tires. More torque also gives you head-turning pulling power on rough rides. If big builds and hard rides sound like your idea of a good time, you’re gonna want a bigger gear reduction.
