Indian FTR 1200 Motorcycle - Street (2019-2024)

The Indian FTR 1200, later simply known as the Indian FTR, is a distinctive performance motorcycle launched in 2019. It was designed to offer a dynamic riding experience, inspired by flat track racing bikes. Powered by a liquid-cooled 1203cc V-twin engine, it maintained this consistent displacement throughout its production until 2024, with minor horsepower adjustments and significant chassis and trim evolutions. The FTR underwent a significant evolution for the 2022 model year. The FTR, FTR S, and FTR R Carbon models transitioned from 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels to smaller, road-optimized 17-inch cast aluminum wheels. This modification resulted in more agile chassis geometry, reduced suspension travel, and a lower seat height, enhancing handling and accessibility. The V-twin engine also received revised calibration for smoother response and the addition of rear cylinder deactivation for heat management.
