The 2025 KTM 390 SMC is a thrilling new supermoto model joining KTM's 390 series. Designed for dynamic riding, it features an all-new engine and chassis, setting a new benchmark for the segment. Power comes from a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 398.7 cc LC4c engine, delivering approximately 44 to 45 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque. This model is presented as a distinct offering within the 390 lineup, without separate trims. The 2025 KTM 390 SMC marks a significant generational leap. It introduces an updated 398.7 cc LC4c engine, a notable increase from previous 373 cc units, featuring an SMC R-specific airbox and exhaust. The bike is built on a new 2-piece steel trellis frame, part of the Gen 3 platform, with supermoto-specific geometry. Suspension includes a 43 mm WP APEX-USD inverted fork and a WP APEX MONOSHOCK, both offering 150 mm of adjustable travel. Rider aids are comprehensive, with selectable Ride Modes (Street, Sport), Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), and dual-channel Bosch ABS with Road, Supermoto, and Supermoto+ modes. A new 4.2-inch TFT dashboard enhances the rider experience. Braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, complemented by 17-inch wire-spoked wheels fitted with Michelin Power 6 tires. FAQ:
