Vehicle Information
Husqvarna WXE 360 Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (1992-1997)
The Husqvarna WXE 360, a robust off-road motorcycle, was produced from 1992 to 1997. It shared its platform with the WXC and later WR models. Its two-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine consistently featured a displacement of approximately 348-349cc, often marketed as 360cc. Estimated horsepower ranged from 50-55 PS (approximately 37-41 kW) at the crank, with a specific figure of 38 kW (52 PS) noted for the 1995 WR 360 model. The WXC and WXE trims were the primary offerings, with WXE models typically equipped with lights and plusher suspension, while WXC models had stiffer suspension and no lights. Significant changes occurred during this period. Between 1992 and 1993, the engine's barrel (cylinder) design evolved, transitioning from a male exhaust port outlet to a design where the expansion chamber fitted into the barrel. The power band system also changed from a single to a double system. In 1995, Husqvarna switched to Brembo brakes and modified some plastic components. An engine porting change was implemented in 1997. FAQ:
