Ski-Doo Tundra 250 Snowmobile (1985-1992)
The Ski-Doo Tundra 250, produced from 1985 to 1992, was a popular utility snowmobile known for its reliability and agility. It was consistently powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder, 2-stroke, fan-cooled Rotax engine, ideal for lightweight tasks like trapping, ice fishing, and light hauling in deep snow conditions. Throughout its production, the Tundra 250 maintained its core engine specifications, emphasizing simplicity and dependability. While the primary trims were "Tundra" and "Tundra LT" (Long Track), the 1985 models were also known as "Citation Tundra" and "Citation Tundra Long Track." The LT variant featured a longer track for enhanced flotation and traction. No significant generation or engine changes were reported for this 248cc platform during these years. FAQ:
