Vehicle Information
Yamaha SX700 Snowmobile (2000-2001)
The Yamaha SX700 snowmobile, including its SXR700 and SX700F variants, and the high-performance SRX700 model, defined the 2000 and 2001 model years. These 698cc triple-cylinder, 2-stroke snowmobiles offered distinct configurations. The SX700/SXR700 produced approximately 120 horsepower, while the SRX700, with its triple-piped engine and power valves, reached 142 horsepower. Notable distinctions exist between the 2000 and 2001 models. For 2000, the SRX700 received a new ignition system inspired by the R1, boosting horsepower and fuel economy, along with chassis and rear suspension enhancements. In 2001, the SXR700 featured a revised electrical system with engine-mounted ignition coils, a dual-bulb headlight, and silver trailing arms. Q : How can I ensure parts fit my Yamaha SX700?

| Engine Oil (2-stroke injection system) | Check oil level: Daily, or initially after 1 month or 800 km (40 h), then seasonally or every 3,200 km (160 h).
