Vehicle Information
KTM 500 XW-F Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (2024)
The 2024 KTM 500 XW-F is an all-new generation off-highway compliant enduro motorcycle. Designed for the North American market, it features a powerful 510.9 cm³ (511cc) liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 39.5 hp at 7,800 rpm and 28.3 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel, offering robust performance for off-road adventures. For 2024, the 500 XW-F represents a complete redesign. Key updates include a new chassis with a forged shock mount and reworked rigidity for improved rider comfort, alongside a hybrid polyamide and aluminum subframe for enhanced durability. The engine itself is redesigned and tilted 2° backward, with the sprocket repositioned 3 mm lower, optimizing mass centralization and anti-squat behavior. Suspension is also new, featuring a 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork and a retuned WP XPLOR PDS rear shock, both fully adjustable. This model is offered as a single, distinct trim, specifically engineered to be 50-state off-highway compliant, including a quiet muffler with a USFS-approved spark arrestor. FAQ:
