Arctic Cat TBX 500 ATV (2002-2006)
The Arctic Cat TBX 500, produced between 2002 and 2006, is a robust utility ATV known for its versatility. It featured a 493cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine, liquid/air cooled and carbureted. The primary model was the 4x4 Automatic TBX, equipped with a CVT automatic transmission and the distinctive "Truck Box" (TBX) feature, a tilt-capable rear cargo bed designed for hauling. Notable updates were introduced throughout these years. In 2002, it received an extended wheelbase, refreshed styling with a new front fascia and headlights, and a redesigned seat and floorboards. The 2005 model replaced the traditional rear luggage rack with a flat bed and added 9kg of side storage. By 2006, the 500cc models, including the TBX, featured larger-diameter stainless steel headpipes for improved power and durability, as well as a front differential lock.
