The Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited, a flagship touring motorcycle, saw significant updates to its engine and offerings between 2014 and 2024. This period was marked by a transition from the Twin Cam engine to the Milwaukee-Eight engine platform, delivering increased displacement and performance. Major generation and engine changes for the Ultra Limited during this timeframe include the introduction of "Project Rushmore" upgrades in 2014, featuring the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine. In 2017, Harley-Davidson launched the all-new Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, providing enhanced power and torque. Subsequently, in 2019, the Ultra Limited was upgraded to the Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, further boosting displacement and performance. The primary trims were the Ultra Limited (FLHTK) and the Ultra Limited Low (FLHTKL, available from 2015 to 2019), with a CVO Ultra Limited (FLHTKSE) version offered in select years.
