Vehicle Information
Harley-Davidson Sturgis Motorcycle - Street (1980-1984)
The Harley-Davidson Sturgis, designated FXB, is an iconic model produced from 1980 to 1984. It is recognized as the first production Harley-Davidson to feature a belt for both primary and final drive. Initially equipped with the Shovelhead engine, it underwent a significant transition to the Evolution engine in 1984. During this period, the Sturgis name was associated with several distinct models rather than simple trim levels. The original FXB Sturgis (1980-1982) was distinguished by its blacked-out aesthetic and belt drive. In 1983, the FXDG Disc Glide Sturgis was introduced, and in 1984, the model evolved into the FXSB 1340 Low Rider Sturgis, marking the arrival of the Evolution engine. Q : How can I ensure parts fit my Harley-Davidson Sturgis?
