Vehicle Information
BETA EVO 125 Dirt Bike (2009-2026)
The BETA EVO 125, an iconic trials motorcycle, has undergone continuous development and various iterations between 2009 and 2026. Renowned for its handling and torque, it is powered by a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine of approximately 124cc, prioritizing controllable performance over peak horsepower. Over the years, the EVO 125 was offered in several trims, including the Standard, the Sport (featuring upgrades like a long-range fuel tank and aggressive tires), and the Factory, a competition-ready version introduced around 2012, equipped with lightweight components and enhanced suspension. The EVO range benefited from numerous updates, notably a new aluminum chassis in 2009, engine and gearbox revisions in 2011, and an increase in displacement to 124.8cc in 2017. A major change occurred in 2026 with the introduction of the Sincro range, which replaces the EVO with an entirely redesigned platform, including a new engine, a hydroformed frame, and updated suspension. Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Oil Filter | Not applicable | Two-stroke models do not use a traditional engine oil filter, as lubrication is provided by the oil-fuel mixture. |
| Gearbox Oil | Initial: 5 hours. Subsequent: 30 hours or more frequently. | Intervals may vary; consult the manual for specific conditions. |
| Belt | Not applicable | Beta EVO 125 trials motorcycles do not use a belt for their primary drive system. |
| Spark Plug | Regular inspection. Replacement: 13,000 to 16,000 km. | Check condition and gap (0.5 to 0.6 mm). Replace if damaged. Interval may be reduced with aggressive riding. |
| Air Filter | Clean and re-oil: 5 to 15 hours, depending on conditions. | Clean after every ride in dusty or wet conditions. |
| Coolant | Every 2 years. Annually for intensive use. | General recommendations suggest replacement every two years. |
