Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Blast M 4000 Snowmobile (2021-2024)
The Arctic Cat Blast M 4000 (2021-2024) is a mid-sized mountain snowmobile, consistently powered by a 397cc, 2-stroke, C-TEC2 single-cylinder engine with EFI, delivering approximately 65 horsepower. This liquid-cooled engine features a counterbalance shaft for smooth operation and utilizes an Arctic Drive System with CVTech clutches. Introduced in 2021 with the ALPHA ONE Single-Beam Rear Suspension and a 146-inch track, the Blast M 4000 saw its most notable evolution in 2023. That year, the new Blast M 4000 LTD trim brought significant performance enhancements, including a narrower ski stance (35.5-37.5 inches), upgraded lightweight FOX Float 3 shocks, and a lightweight mountain seat. The standard M 4000 also received a 7-tooth drive sprocket for improved deep snow lift. For 2024, these key LTD features, such as the narrower ski stance and lightweight seat, became standard across the entire Blast M 4000 lineup, alongside a slightly smaller 10.4-gallon fuel tank. The engine platform remained unchanged throughout the 2021-2024 period. FAQ:
