Description
GPFAX Sintered Road Race Brake Pads are for RACE ONLY use. This is a blend of brake pad that has higher friction and far better grip than any other brake product on the market.
GPFAX Sintered Road Race Brake Pads have by far the highest known friction with a measurement between 0.6 and 0.7 and deliver the most amazing brake effect. Because of this factor, they are unsuitable for street use or for road tyres.
Zero brake fade is guaranteed and the heat stability of these brake pads is perfect leaving the racer with high confidence and a product that can be used over numerous races.
GPFAX Sintered Road Race brake pads are a closed circuit use pad only and street/highway riding with this material is highly inadvisable and dangerous. Such high friction levels as delivered by these pads are for ideal track conditions with race tyres or slicks on prepared asphalt surfaces and NOT for use with highway tires or on the highway. This material is not ECE R 90 approved nor TUV tested with a German ABE and use on the highway is therefore illegal in many countries.

Vehicle Information
Harley-Davidson Road Glide Motorcycle - Street (1998-2026)
The Harley-Davidson Road Glide, an iconic touring motorcycle known for its distinctive frame-mounted "sharknose" fairing, has undergone significant evolution in its engine, trims, and features since its introduction in 1998. This motorcycle has been powered by three main engine families: Evolution, Twin Cam, and Milwaukee-Eight, offering a range of performance and refinements for riders. Over the years, the Road Glide has seen major changes, including the transition from the Evolution engine (1998) to the Twin Cam (1999-2016), and then to the Milwaukee-Eight (2017-present). Significant chassis revisions in 2009 and Project Rushmore updates in 2015 improved rigidity and aerodynamics. Trims evolved from the base FLTR to more luxurious versions like the Road Glide Limited (2020) and high-performance CVO models, with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine becoming standard in 2024. Q : How can I ensure parts are compatible with my Road Glide?
R : To ensure compatibility, please use our year and model selector on this page.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil and Oil Filter | 1,600 km initially, then every 8,000 km or 12 months | For older motorcycles using conventional oil, some recommendations suggest changing every 4,000 to 4,800 km. Many owners perform a combined three-fluid service (engine oil, primary fluid, transmission fluid) every 8,000 km. |
| Spark Plugs | Every two years or every 48,000 km | |
| Drive Belt (Rear Belt) | Inspection and adjustment after 1,600 km, then every 8,000 km | Belts are designed for long life, potentially up to 160,000 km, but should be replaced if cracks or missing chunks are observed. More frequent inspection (every 3,200 to 4,800 km) is recommended for modified bikes. |
| Air Filter | Inspection and cleaning at each service interval (e.g., 1,600 km, then every 8,000 km) | Most Harley-Davidson air filters are washable. Replace if corrosion is visible or if it can no longer be cleaned effectively. |
| Coolant | Annual inspection | The level, freeze point, and cooling system should be checked annually. A specific change interval is not explicitly provided in official manuals. |
