Vehicle Information
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R Motorcycle - Street (2000-2005)
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R, produced from 2000 to 2005, was Kawasaki's flagship high-performance sportbike, powered by a potent 1,199 cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine. This model was renowned for its raw power and advanced engineering, aiming to be the fastest production motorcycle of its era. While consistently named the ZX-12R, its production run saw significant mid-cycle revisions rather than distinct trim levels. The most notable evolution occurred in 2002, marking a shift from the initial A-models (2000-2001) to the B-models (2002-2005). The 2002 update introduced approximately 140 changes, including a heavier crankshaft, revised fuel mapping, and updated connecting rods for improved rideability. Chassis enhancements included revised suspension and aerodynamic adjustments. Later B-models, specifically from 2004, benefited from radial brakes and further fuel injection refinements, enhancing both performance and safety. Q: How do I find parts specific to my Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R?
