Vehicle Information
Kawasaki Z900 Motorcycle - Street (2017-2026)
The Kawasaki Z900, a flagship model in Kawasaki's "Z" series, is a naked sportbike renowned for its balance of performance and handling. From 2017 to 2026, it has maintained a liquid-cooled, 948cc in-line four-cylinder engine, consistently delivering around 125 horsepower. While the 948cc engine displacement has remained consistent, the Z900 has undergone significant evolutions. In 2020, it received a major refresh, including revised styling, chassis enhancements, integrated riding modes, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), a color TFT display, and Bluetooth connectivity. The year 2022 saw the introduction of the Z900 SE version, featuring upgraded suspension and brakes. For 2025, Kawasaki announced an update with new electronics, an electronic throttle, an updated ECU, and the addition of a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), enabling lean-sensitive traction control and ABS. The 2026 model is expected to integrate a bidirectional quickshifter and cruise control. The Z900RS, a retro-styled variant, was also offered. FAQ:
