Vehicle Information
KTM 530 EXC Dirt Bike (2008-2011)
The KTM 530 EXC, produced from 2008 to 2011, is a high-performance enduro motorcycle renowned for its robust off-road capabilities. Powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-stroke engine with an actual displacement of 510.4 cc, it delivered strong, linear power suitable for demanding conditions. Key trims included the standard EXC-R/EXC, the upgraded Six Days, and the Champions Edition. The 2008 model year marked a significant overhaul, introducing the redesigned XC4 engine and a new chromoly chassis, along with updated plastics. While 2009 was largely a carryover, KTM implemented refinements post-2008, such as stronger crank seals and improved oil pump O-rings. The 2011 model received further substantial updates, including a new engine casting with enhanced cooling, revised valve timing, and updated engine management, marking its final year before a displacement transition.
