Vehicle Information
Can-Am Defender Pro HD10 Side-by-Side (2020-2026)
The Can-Am Defender Pro HD10, available from 2020 to 2026, is a robust and versatile utility side-by-side designed for demanding tasks and challenging terrains. Known for its extended wheelbase and large cargo box, it offers superior hauling and storage capabilities. Powering this workhorse is a reliable 976 cc Rotax V-twin liquid-cooled engine, consistently delivering 82 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque throughout this model range. A significant power upgrade for the HD10 occurred in 2020, boosting output from 72 to 82 horsepower, alongside improved CVT tuning, a new drive mode, and a redesigned exhaust system for reduced cabin noise. The 2020 models also benefited from a recalibrated CVT, a lighter yet more rigid reinforced steel frame, and updated suspension with arched A-arms for increased ground clearance. While other Defender models saw engine changes, the HD10 maintained its 976cc, 82 hp engine throughout 2020-2026. The "PRO" designation highlights its longer wheelbase and a versatile 1.8 m x 1.4 m (6 ft x 4.5 ft) cargo box, convertible to a flatbed. Trims like PRO DPS, PRO XT, PRO Limited, and PRO Lone Star (introduced in 2021) offer distinct features, from power steering and winches to full cab enclosures with HVAC. Q: How can I be sure this part fits my specific Can-Am Defender Pro HD10?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page.
