The Arctic Cat XF 9000 series, produced from 2014 to 2019, was renowned for its powerful turbocharged engines and versatile crossover capabilities. Initially powered by a Suzuki-built 1056cc twin-cylinder engine, the series saw a significant evolution during its production run. A major generation break occurred in 2017 with the introduction of a new 998cc Yamaha-built three-cylinder turbocharged engine. This new engine, lighter and offering improved throttle response, replaced the earlier 1056cc Suzuki engine, maintaining a high horsepower output (around 180-200 hp).
