To determine if an optional track is compatible with a particular snowmobile, you must check the bulkhead, tunnel, heat exchanger, and suspension wheel positioning for proper clearance.

The Ski-Doo Freeride 850, spanning model years 2018 to 2026, is a high-performance mountain and freeride snowmobile designed for aggressive riders. Powered by the robust Rotax 850 E-TEC engine, this series has consistently delivered strong performance while evolving through significant platform and engine technology advancements. The Freeride 850 series saw its debut in 2018 on the REV Gen4 platform, introducing the 165 horsepower Rotax 850 E-TEC engine. A major update occurred in 2021 with the option of the 850 E-TEC Turbo engine for 154" and 165" models, maintaining 165 HP at high altitudes. For the 2023 model year, the platform transitioned to the lighter and more refined REV Gen5, accompanied by an upgrade to the 180 horsepower 850 E-TEC Turbo R engine. This Turbo R option became available on the 146" track length from 2024 onwards, alongside further refinements to the Gen5 chassis, suspension, and available technology.
