This non-turbocharged engine, in its second year of production in 2003, provided smooth and efficient power for long rides. While the engine remained unchanged, the 2003 model year brought a significant update to the Touring 660. For 2003, the snowmobile adopted the more precise handling of the "gen-3 ZR chassis and AWS-5 front suspension," enhancing its ride quality and control.
