Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat EXT 580 Snowmobile (1993-1998)
The Arctic Cat EXT 580, produced from 1993 to 1998, was a high-performance snowmobile known for its reliable twin-cylinder engine and versatility. Designed for both trails and powder, it offered a dynamic riding experience thanks to its 580/581cc liquid-cooled engine. This model evolved over the years, incorporating innovations to enhance performance and comfort. The production period saw the major introduction of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) starting in 1994, becoming more prevalent in 1995. EFI improved throttle response and efficiency. In 1995, ergonomic and chassis updates were also implemented, including a hydraulic brake, a sportier seat, and more readable gauges. The 580/581cc twin-cylinder engine remained consistent, but horsepower varied slightly, reaching approximately 90 to 96 horsepower for 1995 EFI models. Various trims, such as the Z, Mountain Cat, Powder Special, and Deluxe models, were offered, each tailored to specific needs. Q : How can I ensure parts fit my Arctic Cat EXT 580?
