Vehicle Information
Yamaha Transporter Lite 400 Snowmobile (2021-2025)
The Yamaha Transporter Lite 400, spanning model years 2021 to 2025, is a robust utility snowmobile designed for various tasks. It is powered by a consistent 397cc, 2-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, featuring batteryless electronic fuel injection (EFI) and delivering approximately 65 horsepower. This engine, introduced in 2021, represented a significant update with computerized ignition, a three-stage exhaust power valve, electronic oil injection, and electric start. Throughout its production run, two main trims were offered: the standard Transporter Lite and, from 2022 onwards, the Transporter Lite 2-Up. The 2-Up model expanded the lineup by providing a two-seater configuration, including a Dual Load 146 suspension with passenger overload springs and a stabilizer bar for improved control. A minor change in fuel tank capacity occurred, from 44 litres in 2021 to 40.1 litres for 2022-2025 models. No full generational change or different engine was introduced for the Transporter Lite 400 within this timeframe. The 2025 model year marks the final production year for Yamaha snowmobiles, including this model. FAQ:
