Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat El Tigre EXT 530 Snowmobile (1989-1991)
The Arctic Cat El Tigre EXT 530, produced from 1989 to 1991, was a high-performance snowmobile known for its aerodynamic styling and Arctic Front Suspension (AFS). Throughout these years, it was consistently powered by a robust 529cc/530cc liquid-cooled Suzuki twin engine, celebrated for its high torque and potent nature. A significant evolution occurred with the introduction of the El Tigre EXT Special in 1990. This trim, aimed at racers, brought substantial performance and handling upgrades, including Fox gas suspension shocks, chrome-moly A-arms, a wider ski stance, and lightweight aluminum components. While the core 530cc engine remained, the 1991 EXT Special further distinguished itself by utilizing the Prowler chassis, marking a clear shift towards a more race-focused machine. Mountain Cat variants were also available in 1990 and 1991. Q: How can I ensure I select the correct parts for my Arctic Cat El Tigre EXT 530?
A: To guarantee compatibility, please use the year and edition selector on this page to specify your exact model.
