Vehicle Information
Polaris Indy Pro X 440 Snowmobile (2001-2003)
The Polaris Indy Pro X 440 was a performance-oriented snowmobile offered between 2001 and 2003, primarily known for its racing-inspired design and powerful 440cc engine. Across these model years, the snowmobile was available in both liquid-cooled and fan-cooled engine configurations, which largely defined its trims. All models featured a 438cc engine. The liquid-cooled 'Pro X' versions were the high-performance, race-oriented machines, often built on the EDGE chassis (2001). The fan-cooled 'Pro X Fan' models, introduced in 2002, offered a lighter option with advanced ergonomics. While the core engine displacement remained consistent, minor evolutions included variations in dry weight and carburetor specifications across the years, but no major platform generation breaks. Q: How do I ensure I select the correct parts for my Polaris Indy Pro X 440?
A: Please use the year and edition selector at the top of the page to find parts specifically compatible with your model.
