Polaris Touring 340 Snowmobile (2004-2007)
The Polaris Touring 340, produced from 2004 to 2007, was a popular two-up snowmobile known for its reliability and comfort. Across all model years, it consistently featured a 339cc, 2-stroke, fan-cooled engine, delivering 36 horsepower. This model was built on the versatile EDGE or Indy chassis, offering a balanced ride for touring enthusiasts. While the 339cc engine remained consistent, the 2004 model year introduced significant platform enhancements. These included the Polaris Electronic Reverse Control (PERC) and the TEAM clutch for improved performance. The "EDGE Touring" models also featured a new convertible system, allowing easy transformation from a two-up to a solo machine with added cargo capacity, alongside a new rear skid for enhanced ride quality.
