Ski-Doo Freestyle 550 Snowmobile (2007-2009)
The Ski-Doo Freestyle 550, produced from 2007 to 2009, was a versatile snowmobile designed for various riding styles, from trails to stunt parks. Throughout these model years, it consistently featured a robust 553.4cc fan-cooled 2-stroke engine, known for its lively performance. The introduction of the Rotax 550F engine in 2007 was a significant upgrade for the Freestyle lineup, offering a substantial boost in power compared to previous versions. This engine remained the standard across all trims, including the Freestyle Park, Session, and Back Country, with 2008 and 2009 models largely being carryovers without major mid-cycle changes. FAQ:

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Drive Belt | Every 50 hours or 2,400 to 4,800 km | Visually inspect before each ride. Replace at the start of each season or if performance is affected. Check for cracks, uneven wear, or fraying. |
| Spark Plugs | Every season | Replace at the start of the season for moderate use. More frequent inspection (every 25 to 40 hours) may be necessary for aggressive riding. |
