Vehicle Information
Ski-Doo Summit 700 Snowmobile (1999-2003)
The Ski-Doo Summit 700, produced from 1999 to 2003, is a mountain snowmobile renowned for its power and agility. Powered by a Rotax twin-cylinder engine of approximately 697-699cc, it offered a dynamic riding experience for off-trail enthusiasts. While the engine displacement remained consistent, this period saw major chassis evolutions. In 1999, the Summit 700 was launched on the new ZX platform, which was lighter and offered improved handling. The end of this period, in 2003, marked the revolutionary introduction of the REV chassis on certain models, including the Summit. The REV chassis transformed ergonomics and handling by moving the rider forward and centralizing mass, significantly improving rigidity and reducing weight. Trims and track lengths also varied, with versions such as Highmark, X, Sport, and Adrenaline. FAQ:
