Vehicle Information
Yamaha Exciter II 570 Snowmobile (1991-1993)
The Yamaha Exciter II 570, produced from 1991 to 1993, is a high-performance snowmobile known for its robust 569cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. This model series consistently delivered strong power, with standard versions offering 85-88 horsepower and the performance-oriented Exciter II SX reaching 92-95 horsepower. While the core engine displacement remained consistent throughout these years, Yamaha introduced several notable enhancements across its trims. Key improvements included the ProAction rear suspension and electric start on the 1991 Exciter II LE, a digital CDI ignition on the 1992 Exciter II LE, and specific engine modifications for the 1993 Exciter II SX, featuring reworked port timing, ignition, and new flatslide Mikuni TM38 carburetors for optimized performance. These updates refined the riding experience without constituting a full generation change within the 1991-1993 production run. FAQ:
