Vehicle Information
Polaris Fusion 900 Snowmobile (2005-2006)
The Polaris Fusion 900, available for the 2005 and 2006 model years, was a high-performance snowmobile powered by an 866cc two-stroke Liberty 900 engine. Designed for significant power, it was positioned as a flagship model in its category. A notable distinction exists between the two production years. The 2005 model utilized a two-injector Cleanfire fuel injection system. For 2006, the engine was updated to a four-injector system, and the Fusion 900 of that year was described as a "re-born" version, featuring improvements in belt life, handling, drivability, economy, and overall power compared to the previous model. The 2005 model also offered a special 50th Anniversary edition. The short lifespan of this model was partly due to safety recalls and reliability issues. FAQ:
