A great handling groomed trail track. The unique rubber compound gives excellent traction, braking, and stability on hard-pack and/or icy surfaces with durable 2 ply construction. Advanced polyester cords, fully clipped, and an efficient lug design makes this a great replacement on sleds that have limited lug height capability. The T28 is a great track for everything from high-speed lake running to groomed trail riding.

The Polaris Indy XC 500 and its performance-oriented variant, the Indy XC SP 500, were highly popular snowmobiles offered between 1999 and 2003. These models consistently featured a robust 500cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. During this period, Polaris introduced significant advancements in both chassis design and engine technology. The 1999 models utilized the XC-10 front and XTRA-10 rear suspensions. By 2000, the advanced Gen II chassis was introduced, followed by the durable EDGE chassis from 2001 onwards, enhancing handling and rider comfort. Engine development saw the Liberty series engine begin appearing in 2000, becoming the exclusive 500cc Liberty motor by 2003, notably producing 105 horsepower.
