Vehicle Information
Yamaha Exciter 570 Snowmobile (1987-1990)
The Yamaha Exciter 570, produced from 1987 to 1990, was a performance snowmobile of its era, powered by a 569cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. This model maintained consistent engine displacement throughout its production but saw variations in trims and technical improvements. The 1987 model was distinct due to its butterfly carbs and a lower chain case ratio. The 1990 and newer models benefited from significant improvements to the engine, carbs, and clutching, along with subtle chassis changes. The year 1990 also marked the beginning of the transition to the "Exciter II" generation, which brought significantly superior performance and an entirely different ignition system starting in 1991.
