The Arctic Cat ZR 8000, a high-performance snowmobile, was produced from 2014 to 2024. Throughout this period, it consistently featured a 794cc, liquid-cooled, 2-stroke, twin-cylinder engine, renowned for its "165-class horsepower". Built on the ProCross platform and utilizing the SLIDE-ACTION Rear Suspension, the ZR 8000 is engineered for aggressive trail riding. Over its production run, the ZR 8000 saw significant mid-cycle evolutions. A major change was the introduction of the 8000-Series C-TEC2 engine with Dual-Stage Injection, which replaced the earlier Suzuki 800 engine.
