Vehicle Information
Yamaha Grizzly 660 ATV (2002-2008)
The Yamaha Grizzly 660, produced from 2002 to 2008, was a powerful utility ATV known for its robust 660cc engine and advanced features for its time. All models in this range were equipped with a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 5-valve SOHC engine, delivering approximately 40.9 horsepower. This engine, derived from the Raptor 660, featured a Mikuni 42mm BSR carburetor and Yamaha's Ultramatic V-belt automatic transmission with all-wheel engine braking, a consistent feature across all years. Introduced in 2002, the Grizzly 660 replaced the 600 model, notably bringing an independent rear suspension for improved handling. Early 2002-2003 models experienced some fuel overheating issues, which Yamaha addressed with running changes like vented side panels and heat reflectors. By 2004, these concerns were largely resolved, and the platform remained stable, primarily seeing color and minor cosmetic updates until the end of its production in 2008. While the Grizzly 700 was introduced in 2007, the 660 continued to be sold alongside it. Q: Is this product compatible with my Yamaha Grizzly 660?
