Yamaha SCR950 Motorcycle - Street (2017)
The 2017 Yamaha SCR950 was introduced as an all-new model, blending classic scrambler styling with modern components. Part of Yamaha's "Sport Heritage" lineup, it was derived from the Yamaha Bolt cruiser platform. It is powered by a 942cc air-cooled, 60-degree V-twin, SOHC engine with four valves per cylinder, delivering approximately 51.3 horsepower (38.3 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 79.5 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine features fuel injection and a 5-speed transmission with a belt final drive.
For the 2017 model year, the Yamaha SCR950 was offered as a single model, not in different trims. It was available in two color options: Charcoal Silver and Rapid Red. As 2017 marked the introduction of the SCR950, there were no mid-cycle generation or engine changes across this range. The motorcycle was new for 2017, utilizing the powertrain and main chassis components from the Yamaha Bolt C-Spec cruiser. FAQ:
