The 1976 Kawasaki KH500, also known as the KH500-A8, is an iconic motorcycle powered by a two-stroke, transverse three-cylinder, piston-valve engine with a displacement of 498 cc. This engine produced 52 hp at 8000 rpm. The 1976 model represented a significant mid-cycle generation change from its H1 series predecessor, largely driven by new anti-pollution standards and the oil crisis.
