Vehicle Information
Suzuki RG250 Gamma Motorcycle - Street (1983-1987)
The Suzuki RG250 Gamma, produced from 1983 to 1987, was a groundbreaking two-stroke sportbike, renowned for its lightweight aluminum frame and race-inspired aerodynamics. It underwent several revisions throughout its production run. All models featured a liquid-cooled, two-stroke parallel-twin engine with a 247 cc displacement. Horsepower evolved from 44-46 hp (1983-1985) to 49-50 hp (1986-1987) with the introduction of the Automatic Exhaust Control (AEC) system. The RG250 Gamma was offered in several "Marks" (generations). The Mk1 (1983) introduced the aluminum frame and dual front disc brakes. The Mk2 (1985) saw a shortened wheelbase for improved handling. The Mk3 (1986) brought the horsepower increase and the special Walter Wolf edition, identifiable by its distinctive livery. These evolutions continuously enhanced performance and road handling. FAQ:
