Vehicle Information
Yamaha Seca 650 Motorcycle - Street (1982)
The 1982 Yamaha Seca 650 is an iconic motorcycle powered by an air-cooled, 653cc DOHC inline-four engine. It was available in several versions, including a turbocharged variant offering enhanced performance. Positioned as a sporty motorcycle, it stood apart from the more cruiser-oriented Maxim. The 1982 model year saw the introduction of several important distinctions. The Canadian (XJ650RJC) and European Seca 650 versions included a YICS (Yamaha Induction Control System) and an oil cooler, unlike the US version (XJ650RJ) which often omitted these features. An "82 1/2" variant of the Seca 650 with a YICS engine was also introduced mid-year in the US. The XJ650LJ Turbo Seca model, launched in 1982, shared the same 653cc engine but produced 90 horsepower thanks to a Mitsubishi turbocharger. Q : Is this part compatible with my 1982 Yamaha Seca 650?
