Yamaha YZF-R7 Motorcycle - Street (1999-2026)
The Yamaha YZF-R7 is an iconic sport motorcycle, produced in two distinct generations spanning the years 1999 to 2026. It has evolved from an exclusive race homologation machine to an accessible supersport, offering exciting performance and precise handling. The first generation, the 1999 YZF-R7 (OW-02), was a limited edition of only 500 units, designed for race homologation. It was powered by a 749 cc 20-valve inline-four engine. There were no mid-cycle generation or engine changes for this single-year model. After a long hiatus, the YZF-R7 was reintroduced in 2021, based on the MT-07 platform. This second generation (2021-2026) features a 689 cc CP2 parallel twin engine. The 2026 model introduced significant upgrades, including ride-by-wire technology. Special editions like the World GP 60th Anniversary Edition were offered in 2022. Q : How can I ensure this part fits my Yamaha YZF-R7?
