Vehicle Information
Can-Am Maverick Sport Max 1000 Side-by-Side (2019-2026)
The Can-Am Maverick Sport Max 1000R, an adventure-ready side-by-side vehicle, was produced from 2019 to 2026. Powered by a consistent Rotax 976 cc (often referred to as 1000cc) V-twin engine delivering 100 horsepower, this four-seater offers reliable performance. The DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) trim level was the primary and most widely offered version during this period, ensuring a comfortable and responsive driving experience. While the core engine and platform remained unchanged, a notable modification occurred in 2022 regarding the shock absorbers. Models from 2019-2021 were equipped with FOX 2.0 PODIUM piggyback shocks with QS3 compression adjustment. Starting in 2022 and continuing through 2026, Can-Am transitioned to SHOWA 2.0 shocks, a change that contributed to a modest reduction in the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. The selectable 2WD/4WD drivetrain with a Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential remained standard across all years. FAQ:
