Vehicle Information
Triumph Daytona 900 Motorcycle - Street (1994-1997)
The Triumph Daytona 900, produced from 1994 to 1997, was a versatile sportbike known for its solid build and comfortable ride. It featured an 885cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine with DOHC. Within this production period, the most significant development was the introduction of the Daytona 900 Super III in 1994. While the standard Daytona 900 continued with its 98 hp engine, the Super III offered enhanced performance, delivering 114-117 hp. This power increase resulted from a collaboration with Cosworth, involving higher compression pistons and a redesigned cylinder head. The Super III also featured carbon fiber parts, improved brakes, and lighter wheels. Apart from these specialized enhancements for the Super III, the core 885cc engine of the standard Daytona 900 saw no other major changes. The Daytona 900 series was eventually replaced by the Daytona 955i in 1997. FAQ:
