Vehicle Information
Harley-Davidson Street Glide Motorcycle - Street (2006-2026)
The Harley-Davidson Street Glide, a cornerstone of the touring lineup from 2006 to 2026, has evolved significantly over its production run. Initially launched in 2006 with the Twin Cam 88 engine and a 5-speed transmission, it quickly adopted the Twin Cam 96 and a 6-speed transmission in 2007, alongside a new chassis in 2009 for improved handling. A major overhaul came in 2014 with Project Rushmore, introducing the High Output Twin Cam 103, a redesigned fairing, and advanced infotainment. The most substantial engine change occurred in 2017 with the introduction of the Milwaukee-Eight 107, followed by the 114 in 2019. For 2024, standard models received the Milwaukee-Eight 117, which was further refined for 2026 with Variable Valve Timing (VVT), a new fairing, and a 12.3-inch display, enhancing both performance and rider comfort across its various trims, including Special, CVO, Limited, and ST versions. Q: How do I ensure I select the correct parts for my Street Glide?
A: To guarantee a perfect fit, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page. This will filter products specifically compatible with your motorcycle.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil and Oil Filter | 1,600 km (initial service), then every 8,000 km or annually | The first change is crucial. Using synthetic oil may extend intervals. |
| Spark Plugs | Every 48,000 km or every two years | Some older models may require replacement every 16,000 km. |
| Air Filter | Inspect every 8,000 km, replacement around 24,000 km | Reusable high-flow air filters require cleaning rather than replacement. |
| Drive Belt (Rear Belt) | Inspect and adjust every 8,000 to 16,000 km | Full replacement is less frequent, generally between 80,000 and 160,000 km. |
| Coolant (for Liquid-Cooled Models) | Every two years | Only applicable to liquid-cooled Street Glide models (e.g., Twin-Cooled). Air-cooled models do not have a coolant system. |
