Honda Foreman 500 ATV (2005-2019)
The Honda Foreman 500 is a popular utility ATV, produced from 2005 to 2019. Known for its robustness and versatility, it was offered with various engine and transmission configurations. Initially equipped with a 475cc engine and an all-new frame in 2005, it replaced the 450cc model. In 2007, Electric Power Steering (EPS) was introduced as an option, enhancing riding comfort. In 2012, the 475cc engine transitioned from air-cooled to liquid-cooled and was updated with electronic fuel injection (PGM-FI), replacing the carburetor. This year also brought a new body design and revised rear suspension. A major chassis redesign occurred in 2014, introducing a new, stiffer double-cradle steel frame and the option for a manual-locking front differential. Body plastics from 2012-2013 models were not compatible with 2014 and newer models. Finally, in 2019, the 475cc engine was replaced with a new 518cc unit.
