Vehicle Information
Honda Monkey 125 Motorcycle - Street (2019-2026)
The Honda Monkey 125, available from 2019 to 2026, is a beloved mini-motorcycle known for its iconic design and playful performance. This compact bike is powered by an air-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and modern reliability. While generally maintaining a single trim level primarily distinguished by color options, the Monkey 125 has received significant updates over its production run. A notable evolution occurred in 2022. Models from 2019 to 2021 featured a 125cc engine and a 4-speed transmission, with ABS as an option. From 2022 onwards, the Monkey 125 adopted an updated 124cc engine, shared with the Honda Grom, which brought a revised bore and stroke, higher compression, and a slight horsepower increase. Crucially, the transmission was upgraded to a 5-speed manual gearbox, enhancing performance and cruising comfort. ABS also became standard from 2022. Minor tweaks for Euro 5+ compliance were introduced in 2025, and 2026 models saw new colors, an LCD display, and full LED lighting, without mechanical changes from 2025. FAQ:
