Kawasaki Ninja 650 Motorcycle - Street (2006-2026)
The Kawasaki Ninja 650, a highly popular sport-touring motorcycle, has been a staple in its category from 2006 to 2026. Throughout its production, it has consistently featured a robust 649cc parallel-twin engine, offering a blend of performance and versatility for both daily commuting and spirited rides. Horsepower figures have generally ranged from 67 hp to 72 hp, adapting to various revisions over the years. The Ninja 650 has evolved through several distinct generations. The first generation (2006-2011), often known as the Ninja 650R, established its reputation. A significant update in 2012 (second generation, 2012-2016) brought a redesigned frame, improved bodywork, and engine tweaks for enhanced handling and performance. The third generation (2017-2019) marked a major overhaul with a new lightweight trellis steel frame, Euro 4 compliance, and the introduction of an assist and slipper clutch. From 2020 onwards (fourth generation), the model received modern styling, LED lighting, a TFT color instrument panel with smartphone connectivity, and in 2023, Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) was added, further refining its appeal.
