Vehicle Information
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 Motorcycle - Street (2006-2011)
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, produced from 2006 to 2011, stands as a formidable high-performance sportbike. Throughout this period, it consistently featured a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 1,352 cc inline-four engine, renowned for its impressive power output, generally around 190 hp with ram air. Torque figures typically hovered around 153.9 Nm at 7,500 rpm. This first generation of the ZX-14 maintained its core platform with minimal structural changes. While the fundamental design remained consistent, Kawasaki introduced minor engine tweaks in 2008. These updates included new pistons, a revised cylinder head, and an ECU remapping to enhance midrange torque, addressing rider feedback. Despite these internal refinements, the engine displacement stayed at 1,352 cc. A notable special edition, the Monster Energy Edition, was offered in 2009, adding a distinctive aesthetic to the lineup. The significant displacement increase to 1,441 cc and the ZX-14R designation occurred in 2012, outside this model range. FAQ:
