Vehicle Information
KTM 300 SX Dirt Bike (1992-2025)
The KTM 300 SX, a renowned two-stroke motocross motorcycle, has a rich history spanning from 1992 to 2025. Over these decades, its availability and specifications have evolved, reflecting KTM's continuous innovation in the off-road segment. For much of its history, specifically from 1992 until 2022, the 300 SX was often achieved through a big-bore kit for the 250 SX or the 300cc engine was predominantly featured in off-road trims like the EXC, MXC, XC, and XC-W. It was not consistently offered as a dedicated factory motocross model during this period. A significant reintroduction occurred in 2023, marking a major redesign. This new generation of the 300 SX was launched as a standalone motocross model, featuring Throttle Body Injection (TBI), an electronic power valve, and standard electric start, along with a new engine architecture. The 2025 model further refines this platform with a new frame, updated suspension, and revised bodywork. Q: How do I ensure I select the correct parts for my KTM 300 SX?
A: To guarantee a perfect fit, please use the year and edition selector at the top of this page. Q: Are parts for the 300 SX compatible with other 300cc KTM models like the EXC or XC?
A: Compatibility can vary significantly between models and years. Always refer to the year and edition selector for precise fitment information.
