Vehicle Information
Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle - Street (1959-2026)
The Triumph Bonneville, an iconic British motorcycle, boasts a rich history from 1959 to 2026. Celebrated for its classic styling and parallel-twin engine, it has evolved through two distinct production eras while retaining its legendary character. The original Meriden factory produced models from 1959 to 1983 (with a brief revival in 1985-1988), featuring 650cc (T120) and later 750cc (T140) air-cooled engines. Key changes included the shift from pre-unit to unit construction in 1963 and the introduction of a 5-speed gearbox and disc brakes. After a hiatus, the modern Hinckley era began in 2001, reintroducing the Bonneville with contemporary engineering. This period saw engine displacements increase from 790cc (2001-2005) to 865cc (2005-2016), and then to liquid-cooled 900cc and 1200cc engines from 2016 onwards. A significant transition from carburetion to fuel injection occurred around 2008. The model range expanded significantly, with various trims like the T100, T120, Bobber, and Speedmaster. Updates for 2026 include enhanced features like larger fuel tanks, updated bodywork, and advanced electronics for several models, ensuring its continued relevance. FAQ:
Q: How do I find the right parts for my Bonneville?
